We are a small scale, home based ethical breeder dedicated to producing healthy, intelligent, family focused and allergy friendly puppies. We breed F1b & F1bb Bernedoodles. Bernedoodles are a hybrid dog who are bred to be true family dogs they are intelligent, energetic and hypoallergenic.
We limit our breeding to 1 – 2 litters per year, allowing us time to provide each mama dog and puppy individual attention.
We begin therapy dog curriculum with our puppies when they are 3 days old and perform formal temperament testing at 7 weeks, so you can be sure your new furry family member is one of a kind who fits you home perfectly.
At Doodles Delight, our parent dogs are DNA & OFA / PenHip tested. They are part of the family, living in a healthy home environment with high-quality nutrition, and plenty of love.
This intentional care and attention ensures that our puppies are not only healthy and happy, but also well-socialized and ready to join your home.

Our Philosophy: By choosing to keep our breeding program small we can ensure that each puppy has plenty of individual attention and appropriate early life stimulation. We follow the BAB curriculum which includes early neurological stimulation, early scent introduction, early socialization, temperament testing, early potty training & crate training. Resulting in a happy, healthy additions to their forever home.
The absolute best breeder around! We were first time puppy owners and had absolutely no clue what to do. Kathleen and Roger were so wonderful from our initial contact, to taking our pup home, to providing endless advice, tips and coaching for months! Kathleen said she would be available for help whenever and she meant it! To top it all off, we didn't even realize how spoiled we were by getting a doodles delight puppy until we started to chat with other pet parents, apparently they don't all come to you sleeping through the night, socialized, potty trained and crate trained! Who knew?! We constantly get compliments on how well behaved and sweet our Markie is. Kathleen and Roger from Doodles Delight were by our side from day one, from the application to the long awaited puppy pick up day and everything in between. I couldn’t recommend Doodles Delight enough if you are looking to add a Bernedoodle to your family. We welcomed Rollo (previously Frank) to our family and he immediately stole our hearts. Kathleen is kind, professional, and it is evident that she loves her dogs. The puppies are raised with the family in their home. They have early exposure to various sights, sounds, people, and handling- making the transition to their forever home much smoother. Rollo adjusted quickly. Crate training was relatively effortless because it was not foreign to him by the time I brought him home.Kathleen is always a call/ text/ email away with any questions or concerns. She wants the transition to go smoothly and for everyone to succeed. The puppies undergo temperament testing at 7 weeks which ensures the pups get placed into the home that is most suitable for them. It is very easy to pick a puppy based on colour/ appearance but ensuring the personality will be compatible with your lifestyle is front-page.

I had the pleasure of adopting an 8 week old mini bernedoodle from Kathleen. She made the whole process very enjoyable, and I can tell she takes great care of the puppies during the whole process.The puppies had an amazing playground, and were already introduced to crates, and potty training. For puppy pick up day, Kathleen provided an amazing go home package, including blankets with litter scent, a plush dog toy with a heartbeat, and so much more. This helped so much for the first few nights and made it much easier of a transition, as a first time dog owner.Kathleen really does make sure that you are a great match with your dog, and provides puppy visits, temperament testing, and is always eager and quick to respond to any questions.I cant recommend highly enough Kathleen to anyone looking into adopting a Bernedoodle. She is very kind, welcoming, and professional.My dog is a very happy, healthy, and smart puppy. He has the perfect mix of wanting to play and cuddle.
Doodles Delight surpassed all our expectations of our puppy process. From quick responses to our inquiries at the beginning, all the way to picking up our puppy and even days after!
